Center Directors discussing Appropriate Mechanisms for raising  Registration Rates

In implementation to the directions of H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Deputy Chairman of Emirates Identity Authority regarding the necessity of concentration, during the coming stage, on registering population in the Population Register & Identity Card System and advancing customer service, directors of registration centers held their periodical meeting with aim to discuss the latest developments related to setting appropriate mechanisms for increasing rates of regisration in the Identity Card System.

In implementation to the directions of H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Deputy Chairman of Emirates Identity Authority regarding the necessity of concentration, during the coming stage, on registering population in the Population Register & Identity Card System and advancing customer service, directors of registration centers held their periodical meeting with aim to discuss the latest developments related to setting appropriate mechanisms for increasing rates of regisration in the Identity Card System.

His Excellency Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Vice Chairman of the Higher Management Committee stressed, while heading the meeting, the importance of the role assinged to directors and all employees of centers in order to implement the decisions and recommondations of Emirates ID's Board of Directors decisions and recommendations paying priority, during the coming stage, to the achievement of the strategic goal represented in raising registration percentages and rates.

He called upon the directors of centers to search for the best possible means and ways that participate in encouraging employees working in registration centers, whether throug incentive financial bonuses or increasing the percentage of the allowance granted to them against overtime hours during official holidays.

He emphasised on the importance of such steps in motivating employees and encouraging them to de their best which will refrect for the best interest of work at registration centers in particular and Emirates ID in general, referring to the necessity of setting clear and standard criteria for paying encouraging bonuses based on operational and strategic performance indicators.

On the other part, directors of centers listened to the presentation provided by Mr. Hamad Ali Al Ahbabi, director of Al Musharraf Center for Registration, concerning the proposed plan for improving performance at Al Musharraf Center in consistency with Emirates ID's strategy and vision and whithin a fixed and flexible timeframe.

The presentation included a number of primary points and themes including discussion of the best mechanisms for contracting with major establishments and companies operating in Abu Dhabi, the manner of facilitating the registration of their employees whether through the agreements signed between Emirates ID and such companies or through direct coordination with them.
