H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Deputy Chairman of Emirates Identity Authority, directed Emirates ID's departments and all its employees to double efforts and work as one team during the coming stage of Emirates ID's work in a manner reflecting positively on the best interest of work and participating in enabling Emirates ID to continue its role and perform its message in achieving national projects it is executing in the best possible manner.

When chairing the last Board meeting held in Abu Dhabi Police G. H. Q, he stressed the importance of finalizing registration of all citizens and nationals in the Population Register & Identity Card System referring to the Board's keenness to provide all forms of support to the new registration strategy which is expected to make a qualitative leap and remarkable increase in the number of those registering in the Population Register & Identity Card System.
During its meeting, Emirates ID's Board of Directors reviewed the latest developments related to the registration strategy it has passed recently and approved its initiatives and timeframe. It has also discussed a number of the subjects and issues listed on the agenda and taken the necessary decisions concerning the same.
